On-field team support

ChiroBalance has an excellent team of Sports Chiropractors and Athletic Trainers. We work with different sports and teams but our goal remains the same: to ensure the safety, health and wellbeing of the players in our care. We have had nothing but great responses from the teams we support, returning players to play when appropriate and identifying red flags that often get missed in the heat of adrenaline.

Corrective Exercises

Exercises are a necessary part of treatment. Once the problem is identified and corrected, the body needs to be re-educated on how to properly move again and use the restored Range of Motion. Without corrective exercises, the compensatory patterns (tightness and pain) will return. Fundamental exercises and assistance such as those performed with elastic bands, balls and boards in the office and at home help reinforce proper mechanics of joint movement.

Sports Physicals

Dr. Derek Ko works with students of all ages through injuries related to after school sports of all kinds.   We also do pre-participation sports physicals.   Students and their parents can come to the office and get an exam for $50.  If your student has a GPA of 3.5 or better, they are eligible for a 100% discount . These physicals take around 20-30 minutes.
